Originally from Venezuela, moved the the US in 2011 and Joined New York Life as an agent in 2012. In 2015 Rafael was promoted to be the Development Manager on the New York Life Orlando General Office, where he oversaw the training department and operations.

After 7 years as a Development Manager, Rafael decided to go back to his roots of helping people prepare for their financial future and open his firm Marquez Financial and Insurance Strategies. Rafael has a BS in Electronic Engineer and holds the Life and Health Insurance License, and the Securities Licenses FINRA Series 6 and63. Also he has the Chartered Life Underwriting (CLU),designation from The American College of Financial Services.

Rafael qualify for MDRT^* in 2023, 2024 and 2025; and was name 2024 and in 2025 Forbes Top Financial Security Professional of the State of Florida^**.
